Our Mission.

Veterans Against Suicide Inc. is dedicated to empowering veterans and their families through education, advocacy, and raising national awareness, and exists to confront the reality that 17 veterans die by suicide each day and to keep this conversation loud and impossible to ignore.

We raise awareness about the critical issue of veteran suicide, fostering a community that recognizes the importance of mental health and the unique struggles faced by those who have served, refusing to allow this crisis to remain hidden or minimized.

We welcome all veterans, their families, and individuals who share our commitment to honoring service through action. Together, we strive to create a society where every veteran can find support, healing, and a path to a fulfilling life, and where the loss of 17 veterans a day is treated as a national emergency, not a statistic.

Our Vision.

We envision a nation where veteran suicide is no longer an accepted statistic, where veterans are empowered through advocacy and where timely access to mental health care and earned benefits allows every veteran to live with dignity, purpose, and hope.
